Get Involved - Become a Volunteer

There are many opportunities to volunteer through the CMH Foundation.

CMH Foundation Events
The Foundation puts on at least two events throughout the year and could use volunteers to:

Be a table captain or attend the Evening in the Tropics
Put together a team or play as an individual in the Golf Classic

Yakima Crime Victim Advocacy
After completing a 30-hour core training, volunteer advocates provide phone support to victims of crime. Sexual assault victim advocates provide medical advocacy should the victim present at the hospital in need of support. All volunteers provide a much needed service to the community. ASPEN
ASPEN has many opportunities for volunteers including After-Hours Advocates (must complete a 35-hour volunteer training), office support, shelter support, community education and special event coordinating. Please call (509) 925-9384 for more information.

PATH Homeless Outreach
The PATH Homeless Outreach program is in search of volunteers for the Peer Outreach Specialist Program. For additional information call (509) 249-5406.
